“Give the Racine Bus a Jingle Contest”
Contest participants should create an advertising jingle for the Belle Urban System. The jingle may not be longer than ninety seconds and must encourage listeners to ride the bus. The jingle should encompass but not be limited to the positive aspects of riding the bus such as saving money on gas, convenience, staying “green” by not driving cars and other benefits.
Participants or at least one member of a participating team must be associated with a Southeastern Wisconsin Education program.
To enter the contest participants must upload their finished jingles and personal information to BUSJingleContest.com in the form of an MP3 file for audio or a WMV file for video.
All jingles and videos will be screened for content and may be disqualified if deemed inappropriate.
Jingles and videos will be voted on by the public and judged by a panel of radio and advertising industry professionals.
All entries become the property of Racine Broadcasting, Corporate Images and the Belle Urban System. No future compensation other than prizes awarded will be given.
Entries must be submitted by June 7, 2012 with judging beginning on June 8, 2012. Finalists will be selected and given the opportunity to perform their jingles at the Downtown Racine
Corporation’s Music On The Monument performance on August tenth. At that time the winners will be announced.
The first place winner will receive, $500.00 cash as well as a $500.00 scholarship to a music, IT, marketing or theater program in Southeast Wisconsin, a two hour professional music studio session, one hundred CD’s with cover art, coaching by a professional jingle producer and have their winning jingle used in Belle Urban System advertising.
Second and Third place winners will each receive a $250.00 cash prize.
Contest winners agree to come to the Lite Rock 92.1 studios at 4201 Victory Avenue, Racine WI during regular business hours and present a valid ID to claim prizes.
Prizes are not transferable.
Employees of Racine Broadcasting, Corporate Images, The Belle Urban System, their immediate families, competing media and promotion sponsors are not eligible to win.
This Promotion runs April 2, 2012 to August 10, 2012.

When WRJN gives away certain prizes on the air like theater tickets, DVD’s and free food, there are some simple contest rules to follow.
Only one winner per family for the duration of the contest.
Prizes are not transferable.
Contest winners must come to the WRJN studios at 4201 Victory Avenue, Racine, Wisconsin and present a valid ID to claim their prize. Prizes will be mailed for certain tickets and prize giveaways.
ALL PRIZES MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN TWO WEEKS AFTER WINNING OR PRIZE(S) WILL BE FORFEITED.
