For 88 years, AM 1400 WRJN is the station Racine and Kenosha depends on for wake-up news, weather, and sports. 36 year news veteran, Tom Karkow, provides at least 20 minutes of local news each hour. WRJN News has been recognized over the years for excellence by the Milwaukee Press Club, Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, Associated Press, United Press International, and the Midwest Broadcast News Association. Tom is a Racine native, married, with an adult son. He received a BA in Communication from UW-Parkside in 1979.

Lew Turner & Janet Hoff 2pm-6pm
Janet Hoff has done radio news in the Kenosha-Racine market since the fall of 1978, including 18-years in Kenosha. She's a native of Martinsburg-West Virginia, has one sister, and is a 1976 graduate of Indiana University (BA in Radio & TV). Jan has won awards for her work from the Milwaukee Press Club, Associated Press and Northwest Broadcast News Association. She's married, with one adult son.
