Job Opportunities

MORNING HOST
Position Description and Responsibilities: WRJN is Racine, Wisconsin’s heritage News-Talk Station preparing to celebrate 85 year of service. Our long tenured morning host has decided to retire so we have a rare opening for a unique morning host. Our morning show includes strong local news coverage, local sports and extensive interaction with local political and community leaders. It is NOT opinion based. Its news, information and community based so our new host will need to “live local”.
Qualifications and How to Apply: You’ll need at least 5-10 years of on-air experience in a talk or information format. This is NOT an entry level position. It doesn’t matter the size of the market you’ve worked in. We need a solid, mature sounding host who can juggle the on-air elements at a fast pace. After the show, you’ll need to seek out and meet the people who make this city unique. The key is LOCAL. This is a high profile position so your integrity and professionalism will be as important as your on-air “sound”. WRJN and Bliss Communications offer a comprehensive benefit plan. NO calls please. Send your resume and NON-MUSIC Mp3 to:
